What is Trinity - Young Performers Certificates exam?
The Young Performer Certificate (YPC) is a drama certificate specially designed for children under the age of seven. It aims to cultivate children’s confidence, fun and sense of accomplishment through interaction and performance. YPC also encourages candidates to use performance techniques, use movements, music and sounds to develop imagination, create stories, characters and situations. In addition, YPC lays the foundation for children’s speeches, drama, musicals and music.
How the YPC exam will be conducted?
The exam will be conducted in an easy and natural environment to assess the child’s progress with international standards. Applicants trained and appointed by Trinity Guildhall will review and mentor their children to help them develop in the future. Candidates build confidence and self-esteem, and enhance communication skills and memory skills. All candidates will receive an internationally recognized certificate to recognize their performance.
Is it a group performance?
YPC is specially designed for the group. Each group has 6-12 members.
What levels do the YPC exam offer?
The certificate is divided into three levels: gold, silver and bronze. It is designed to encourage and promote the development of children.
How students will be rewarded after the examination?
Since the exam emphasizes rewards and participation, all students have access to the following items:
After the performance of the team members, they will be issued a sticker to show their appreciation.
The test report will be forwarded to the Trinity Guildhall London Head Office for confirmation and a formal certificate will be issued to each student
What is LCM - Early Learning (Music) exam?
The London College of Music (LCM) was founded in 1887 and is now part of the University of West London, one of the oldest universities in the UK. LCM’s pre-school exams are designed to improve children’s enthusiasm for music and to develop basic music knowledge.
Is it an individual exam for student?
Yes.
What levels do the LCM early learning (Music) offer?
The Early Learning (Music) exam is divided into 3 levels: Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage
What is going to be tested in the exam?
Student’s music and basic communication skills will be accessed. The exam process is easy and fun. They are going to have a simple conversation with the Examier, sing a song and perform a song by an instrucment.
When the LCM exam take place?
The annual examination time is divided into three seasons: (Spring) March/April, (Summer) July/August, and (Winter) November/December.
Is there any grading for the exam?
There are three grades: Pass / Merit / Distinction
– Ace British Musical Textbook
– Rehearsing an English musical drama every season (Topic is designated by the teacher in charge of the season)
– Perform musical content at the Trinity exam venue and have the opportunity to participate in MileKids’ annual performances and other public performances (such as Disney Performing Arts Day, large malls or carnival shows)
– The teacher will select a song for each student to performin the LCM exam.
– students will learn at least one piano/wooden/rainbow clock to prepare for the exam each season.
– Basic piano playing skills, knowing the high and low tone, rest and other simple music knowledge
listens to greeting/circle game songs, strengthens interpersonal relationship training and simple English communication skills through group music games

Each season, student will take the Trinity YPC exam and the LCM Early Learning (Music) exam. You will receive two international certificates, and you can take up to 6 certificates per year.
Individual students who have excellent performance in exams and exams will have the opportunity to be selected to participate in the competition and performance on behalf of the MileKids Musical Theatre.
Upon completion of the three-season course, students who have obtained 6 certificates will receive a letter of recommendation from the Center for primary school admission.
